Why Join?

When you join the Junior League of Riverside, you can expect:

Make a positive impact in the community through our volunteer projects

Increase awareness of community issues and develop new skills

Grow your leadership capacity and ability to work on a team

Make lifelong friendships

Active members have access to training in effective voluntarism, community relations, event planning, and local community updates as well as opportunities to attend National Conferences organized by the Association of Junior Leagues International. Founded in 1901, the Junior League has over 291 chapters in 4 countries and is 140,000 members strong. It is one of the largest women's organizations in the world. Active members attend general membership meetings monthly, contribute to planning and ensuring the effectiveness of the league, support our projects and fundraising efforts, and pay annual dues which help to support this all volunteer organization.

New Member Timeline

New Member Orientation is held in the fall each year. We do accept inquiries and new members year-round, so it isn't too late to join for the year if you miss the fall orientation. For more information, email membership@jlriverside.org.

Attend an orientation

Complete a new member project by the end of the league year in May

Volunteer for at least one diaper distribution day (the third Saturday of every month)
